Waxing will leave your skin smooth for weeks.  No more razor burn and fewer ingrown hairs. Schedule waxing every 4 weeks.  

Please allow 10-14 days of hair growth. The hair should be about a 1/2 of an inch long. About the length of a grain of rice.  There is a better chance of complete hair removal from the wax if it is long enough.  Be patient! 

It's worth it.

We use very high quality waxes and pre/post products that are dermatologist tested and approved.  We insure proper prepping of the skin and appropriate after care products.  We do everything possible to make waxing as comfortable as it can be.  Advil taken prior to waxing can be helpful.  Also, avoid caffeine and alcohol prior to waxing.  Waxing is less sensitive several days after menstruation.  Numbing creams are available over the counter and by prescription.  We do have candy!

Yes.  Retin-A, Renova,  AHA's, BHA's, retinols and/ or similar high percent exfoliating products need to be stopped for 7 days prior to waxing.  Consult your doctor for instructions if you are on a prescription medication.  Many medications including steroids, blood thinners, etc. can increase risk of bruising. Accutane users cannot wax for 6 months after medication is stopped. Other contraindicaitons include but are not limited to; Active lesions, sores, open wounds, sunburn, keloid scarring history, extreme dry skin, thin skin, blood thinners, uncontrolled diabetes, active cancer, botox or collagen injections in the last 7 days, etc.  If you have any questions about contraindications, please contact us.  

Hell, yes!  We accept all clients as long as you are nice to us and you are over 18.  If you are under 18, you will need a parent present with you at your first appointment. 

For 24 hours- No tanning, no hot showers, no touching the waxed area, no seat heaters, no baths or hot tubs, no lake adventures, no working out.  For 24 hours do not do anything that would heat up the skin or cause bacteria to enter the freshly waxed follicles.  Wear loose fitting, cotton clothing.  Use PFB Vanish Soothing Cream 2 times per day for at least 48 hours.  This will Calm, moisturize and contains bump inhibitors.  Then, use daily in conjunction with PFB Vanish roll-on of your choice.    This can be purchased from your esthetician.  After 48 hours start exfoliating every day or every other day to prevent ingrown hairs.  Exfoliating gloves are also recommended.
